Viola has worked within the fashion and design world for more than 15 years. Starting her career, she spent three years as an apprentice dressmaker and then studied at the elite Schloss Eller Fashion School in Germany. Viola furthered her training and honed her skills as a junior designer and dressmaker at a Haute Couture studio for 1½ years, followed by a year of working for the costume department of Düsseldorf’s main theatre. After that she became a designer and dressmaker at a bridal shop in Düsseldorf.
Having relocated to England in 2001, Viola spent a year designing wedding dresses and evening wear. She now lives and works ‘Between the Commons’ in Battersea, south west London.
