This is entirely requirement lead and commences with a free consultation at the studio, to identify all the wishes of the client together with a review of the occasion that the garment is to be worn to.

Subsequently an indicative quote is produced and work commences on the drawings. Once created these are reviewed with the client, following which a formal instruction
is agreed.

The first fitting includes a calico toile mock up which gives a very clear understanding of the final shape and form of the dress or outfit. A review of several sample books enables the easy identification of the required fabric.

Fine tuning to match the client’s requirements may now commence. This is by way of second, third and if necessary fourth fittings. It is this careful attention to detail that enables each outfit to fit so well.

Timings obviously vary depending upon the nature of the dress or outfit. Typically an evening dress will take two to three weeks from the first consultation whereas a wedding dress might take up to six weeks, depending upon the complexity of the design.

Please note, however, it is recommended to start the process as early as possible to avoid any problems arising in sourcing the necessary materials.
